In 1 Corinthians 4:1 (NKJ) the Bible says "Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God." A steward is not the owner, but the operator and only exercises the resources, power, or responsibilities given him with the interests and the mindset of the owner at heart and focus. We say we know God, who He is, how He moves. We say He is for me and not against me. Yet we lower the things that can not be understood and bring them to our level of understanding! We have'nt accepted the mysteries of God because we try to understand with our own wisdom and turn them into what we think it looks like, taking God out of the picture! Jesus says in John 15:5 "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." We need that relationship, abiding in Him to engage the deeper things, the mysteries of Yehweh! We all have cried out for more, Lord, more... More, I believe is what has not been revealed. I want more. You don't have to understand everything you see and hear...If you do you should be manifesting what you believe! I think we have entered a season where what worked before, won't work as they did. As sons we need to engage the realm of mystery...It is our portion, our inheritence! So come up higher, come up where revelation and understanding reside. Come up here...
Exodus 34:6 And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, "The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering , and abounding in goodness and truth... In this verse IS the disposition of Messiah. The early church used this important verse to judge prophecy and conduct in the church atmosphere. There were three elders who were in charge of hearing and deciding if what was said and done in that time was in the disposition of Messiah. In this very shaky and explosive time we are living in (exciting & wonderful time I might add) it would serve us well if we would write this verse on the tablet of our heart and in every circumstance, situation we find ourselves apply it rightly and justly. By doing this, we, as the body of Christ, will start looking like the "church" the public has never seen!!!
