While dealing with several health issues in my life, I found myself in a state of fear. I know Yehweh is not the author of fear, yet the uncertainty of the situation made me fearful and was not a good feeling. I began thinking of David & Goliath and the verse in First Samuel 17:45 "You come against me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD of Hosts, the God of the armies of Israel!" David also wrote, "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and staff, they comfort me," even when all seems hopeless He is with me! Fear comes with consequences, anxiety, worry, panic, and stress which leads to insecurity. Faith, hope, and trust are the seeds that lead us into victory. In God, we have power to overcome!
