Yeshua never said our lives would be free of trouble, but He promised there would be troubles in this world, He also promised that He had overcome this world. John 16:33 says in The Passion Translation, "And everything I've taught you is so that the peace that is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!" We need to believe that God sees and hears our prayers and we have something to hold onto! Because of what He did on the cross & our faith in His blood we are able to stand in faith.
