In Genesis, the bible begins "God created the heavens and the earth" and in Revelation, ends with the restoration of heaven and earth. The first two chapters of Genesis tell of the creation of the Garden. The last two chapters of Revelation tell of the perfect restoration of the global paradise! The third chapter, Genesis three tells of satan's deception of man. The Third chapter from the end, Revelation twenty tells of satan's destruction by the son of man, a perfect restoration and a perfect symmetry!!! Apostle Paul writes in Ephesians 1:10 "...a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in Him, things in heaven and things on the earth. We must have our understanding to include both, that which is in heaven and that which is on the earth. If we are in Christ, we are seated with Him . Yeshua was both, heavenly and earthly, and we are, too! There are two views of Jerusalem, one is a city in the middle east and the other that Jerusalem is a city in heaven. Both are true! There is a heavenly Jerusalem and a earthly one. BUT, the time is coming when the heavenly Jerusalem descends overshadowing the old and make ALL things new and one! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, come quickly!
Exodus 34:6 And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, "The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering , and abounding in goodness and truth... In this verse IS the disposition of Messiah. The early church used this important verse to judge prophecy and conduct in the church atmosphere. There were three elders who were in charge of hearing and deciding if what was said and done in that time was in the disposition of Messiah. In this very shaky and explosive time we are living in (exciting & wonderful time I might add) it would serve us well if we would write this verse on the tablet of our heart and in every circumstance, situation we find ourselves apply it rightly and justly. By doing this, we, as the body of Christ, will start looking like the "church" the public has never seen!!!
