In Matthew 17: 1-8 we see Yeshua transfigured before His disciples. While Peter was speaking, BEHOLD, a bright cloud overshadowed them; suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!" They heard this voice and were terror struct. But Jesus touched them and told them to stand and not be afraid. When they stood and looked, they saw no one but Jesus. In the fullness of time, God revealed His glory in Yeshua so we all can see God as He truly is. They saw Holy Spirit as the shining cloud, Father as the voice in the cloud and the Son standing in their midst. Seeing Yeshua as He is changed them and He changes Us as we see Him as He is. In this one kairos moment, they no longer saw Jesus as a teacher, rabbi, miracle worker, or revolutionary, but as who He truly is: King of heaven and earth! The key to this revelation is a life laid down in worship and service, which leads us to victory in Christ over all our enemies! Beholding Him we become like Him. Seeing Him as both Lord and Christ and responding in worship will take us into transformation. Gaze into this GLORY!!! He is worthy and He is God...WHAT A SAVIOR!!!
Exodus 34:6 And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, "The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering , and abounding in goodness and truth... In this verse IS the disposition of Messiah. The early church used this important verse to judge prophecy and conduct in the church atmosphere. There were three elders who were in charge of hearing and deciding if what was said and done in that time was in the disposition of Messiah. In this very shaky and explosive time we are living in (exciting & wonderful time I might add) it would serve us well if we would write this verse on the tablet of our heart and in every circumstance, situation we find ourselves apply it rightly and justly. By doing this, we, as the body of Christ, will start looking like the "church" the public has never seen!!!
